Hyperion remains the tallest coast redwood tree. The last measured height was 381 feet in 2019. The area around Hyperion has been off limits since mid 2022 so there will be no remeasurement for some time. Based on growth rates Hyperion is now likely 382 feet tall.
There are four other trees in Redwood National Park between 370 and 379 feet tall.
In 2000 Humboldt Redwoods State Park had no measured trees over 370 feet tall. Now there are six, all between 370 and 374 feet tall.
