The last measured height was 381 feet in 2025. The area around Hyperion has been off limits since mid 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are four other trees in Redwood National Park between 370 and 379 feet tall.   Based on growth rates, the second tallest tree, Helios, will surpass Hyperion&#8217;s height in about 20 years (2046).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2000 Humboldt Redwoods State Park had no measured trees over 370 feet tall.
